President
Meredith Shrader and her husband of 18 years, Daniel, have lived in Greeneville since 2011. Meredith is a Physician Assistant turned homeschool mom and she and Daniel currently own and operate a local event venue, Greenwood Oaks. They stumbled into homeschooling unintentionally when their oldest child, Lily, started Kindergarten but loved it and have continued ever since. Lily is now entering 10th grade and they have two other children, Hosea (6th grade) and Janessa (1st grade). When Daniel and Meredith are not working at the venue and homeschooling they love reading, spending time outdoors and on their farm, and gardening. They have both taught various science and geography courses at Heritage through their years as members and Meredith has helped with formal planning and previously served as the Volunteer Coordinator and Treasurer for Heritage.
Vice President
Wendi Kitsteiner and her husband of 27 years, John, moved to Greeneville to permanently settle down in 2015 after living in Ft. Lauderdale, Kentucky, Minnesota, northern Florida, Turkey, the Azores, and middle Tennessee. Wendi arrived as a retired high school English teacher and a writer and editor raising their 4 young children, and John began working as an E.R. doctor in Greeneville. They immediately became a part of Heritage and have been devoted ever since. Wendi started out teaching PE and has transitioned to high school English. 2 years ago, John took over as the Biology teacher at Heritage. Their 4 children are now junior boys (Isaac and Elijah), 14-year-old Abigail, and 12-year-old Hannah. They reside on their organic permaculture farm in Bulls Gap and enjoy taking fun trips and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to teaching, Wendi is primarily in charge of facilities, new member consideration, and being very loud when her voice is needed in the gym.

Julia Denham moved with her family to Greene County three years ago in pursuit of work-life balance and a community that better shared the values of their growing family. The Denham's traded a life working at a luxury resort, Julia in accounting and Kirk as a chef, for their current residence. You may find them there with chickens, pigs, sheep, or goats in addition to their daughters Annabelle (10), Nala (8), and Lucille (1). To add to all the commotion, Julia is expecting a son to arrive in August! Julia has enjoyed teaching Cultures of the World and People of America at HHS for the past three years.
